Smaller clearances
Sofa, furniture and appliance removal
You may not need a full clearance. We can assess individual bulky items or a smaller collection when photographs and access details make the work clear.
Start your estimatePhotographs make the difference
Show each item, its approximate size and the route out of the property. For flats, include the floor level, lift dimensions and any restrictions on using communal entrances.
Tell us about
- Stairs, tight turns, narrow doorways and parking distance
- Whether appliances are safely disconnected and empty
- Heavy or delicate items such as pianos, safes and large cabinets
- Mattresses, upholstered furniture and multiple-item collections
- Any fixed collection or key-access window
How much does it cost to remove a sofa?
Our minimum charge for a small standalone clearance is £250 plus VAT. That minimum is not a fixed per-sofa price: the final figure depends on the sofa's size and construction, the route out, parking and carrying distance, and whether other items can be collected at the same time.
For a useful initial range, send the property postcode, a clear photograph of the sofa, photographs of stairs, doorways or communal access, and details of the nearest practical loading point. Include any other furniture or appliances that may need removing. The photograph-based range is non-binding until a person confirms the final scope, price and date.
When a wider clearance is better
If several rooms or secondary spaces are involved, a property-clearance estimate may be more appropriate than pricing items individually. Send the full picture and we will assess the most sensible scope.

Send the property details and photographs you have. We will ask only what is needed to move the estimate forward.
